Come, run and live a unique and unforgettable experience at the foot of Mont Saint-Michel!

Run In Mont Saint-Michel by Harmonie Mutuelle is above all a sportive, festive gathering in the heart of an emblematic location in France and overseas, full of history and culture. The Marathon de la Baie du Mont Saint-Michel hosts 3000 runners each year who come from all over France and from every corner of the world.

That makes more than 60 nations who come together to experience a magical sporting event in an exceptional environment - the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel between Cancale and Mont Saint-Michel - a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In addition to the races, participants and visitors will be able to discover heritage, culinary specialities and the secrets of the Bay during the weekend.

23th & 24th MAY, 2019

The Marathon des Loustics is the result of a project for 40 junior classes, 1,000 pupils, 20 relays in each class group, on the coastal path. Through games and a preparation cycle in a sports and environmental activity, the Catholic Schools Sports Federation (UGSEL) and the Marathon des Loustics are committed to promoting the values of hospitality, respect, sharing, conviviality and mutual assistance.

The Marathon des Loustics will take place on Thursday 23th and Friday 24th May 2019.

Would you like to get off the beaten trail and run far from the tarmac?

The Trail de l’Archange, which extends about 53km, will ensure you have a change of scene and allow you to discover the Bay by passing by the Pointe du Grouin du Sud. With a start that is located in Saint-Pair-Sur-Mer, along the sea, get ready to experience an exceptional finish climbing the steps which will take you all the way to the Mont-Saint-Michel.

Don’t you feel ready to run 42.195km yet? In that case we suggest that you try the intermediary distance on the Half Marathon, with a loop around the town of Pontorson. Come and take up the challenge on this distance which is popular and accessible to everyone. The start of the race will be common with the 10km for more friendliness.

The Marathon du Mont Saint-Michel offers you an exceptional setting and landscapes as far as the eye can see. Enjoy a unique experience after all that effort, with a majestic finish at the foot of this jewel of French heritage.

You will set off from Cancale, cover the mythical distance of 42.195km and run along the coast on a route that is renowned for being rolling. The Marathon du Mont Saint-Michel is one of the only marathons in the world where you can see the very historic finish line, before you even set off.

Combining a sporting challenge and a fun event, the Duo-Marathon is a very popular and accessible format which enables two runners to complete the Marathon route in relay.

If you are the first runner in your relay team, you will get off to an unforgettable start, crossing the line with 3,200 other marathon runners. You will then hand over to your team mate at Cherrueix at the 20.5k mark, where you will receive your medal, a T-shirt and refreshments.

If you are the second runner in your relay team, you will finish opposite Mont-Saint-Michel, buyed by the thousands of spectators who line the last few kilometres.
